A good school education is one of the most important prerequisites for children to be able to develop according to their abilities. This is served by a well-structured school system that does justice to the diverse interests and developments of the pupils and various support measures.
Pupils with particular difficulties in reading, spelling or arithmetic are entitled to individual support in all types of school: schools are obliged to implement support measures. The basis for this is the sixth section of the "Ordinance on the Design of the School Relationship". The aim of the funding is to overcome the difficulties as far as possible. Diagnosis and counselling play an essential role in this. For children and adolescents with corresponding difficulties, an individual support plan is drawn up. Cooperation between school and parents is an important prerequisite for successful help.
