Do you have a business premises or vehicles used for business purposes? Then you must pay a broadcasting fee for these and report this to the responsible authority. New business premises must also be registered.

In the non-private sector, you must pay a broadcasting fee for each business premises and for motor vehicles used for business purposes, taking into account the number of all employees. To do this, you must register with the competent authority.

The following are exempt from the obligation to pay a contribution

• non-profit institutions for disabled people
• Youth welfare facilities
• Institutions for addicts
• charitable associations and foundations
• Public general or vocational schools

You also do not have to pay a broadcasting fee for business premises that do not provide a workplace.

• You are the owner of a business premises or have motor vehicles that are subject to contributions.

The fee to be paid depends on the number of employees in addition to the holder.

Registration with the competent authority is unsolicited. As soon as you start operating a business premises, you must register this with the competent authority.

The obligation to pay the broadcasting fee shall commence on the first day of the month in which the fee debtor first takes possession of the residence, the business premises or the motor vehicle. The possession of a motor vehicle begins on the first of the month in which it is registered to the fee debtor.

• The following information is required for registration:
• Company name and address of the debtor and his/her legal representative,
• current address of each business establishment
• last address of the fee debtor reported to the regional broadcasting corporation
• full name of the owner of the establishment,
• number of employees at the establishment,
• contribution number
• Date of commencement of ownership of the permanent establishment or the motor vehicle subject to contributions,
• Information on the industry or establishment affiliation
• Number of hotels, guest rooms and vacation apartments subject to contributions
• Number and registration location of motor vehicles subject to contributions
