The provisional result of the district election is determined on the evening of the election by the electoral officer of the district.
The provisional result is based on the quick reports from the ballot box and postal ballot boards after the ballot papers have been counted, which are initially summarized at the level of the municipalities belonging to the district.
The final result of the district election is determined by the district election committee in the days following the election.
The final result of the district election is based on the election records of the ballot box and postal ballot boards prepared on election day. The newly elected district council decides on the validity of the district council election following a preliminary examination by the election review committee.
