The Minister President of the State of Saxony-Anhalt assumes honorary godparenthood for multiples (triplets or more) upon application. The honorary godparenthood is linked to the granting of a one-off allowance of 1400 euros per multiple birth. Only the biological parents or single parents of the multiples, who have their main residence in Saxony-Anhalt and live in the same household as the children, are eligible to apply. The application must be submitted to the State Administration Office within one year of the birth of the multiples.
Obligations for the honorary sponsor as a result of the sponsorship are excluded.
