As a damaged person who, as a result of their injury, is permanently dependent on outside help to regulate your daily routine, you are considered helpless.
As a helpless damaged person, you can apply for a monthly care allowance.
The amount of the care allowance depends on the extent of the necessary care. It is divided into six stages.

The classification is checked individually for each case.
Blind people receive at least Level III.
Helplessness
- The injured are helpless when they need permanent help from others for a series of frequently and regularly recurring activities to secure their personal existence in the course of each day.
These requirements are also fulfilled if:
- the assistance in the form of monitoring or guidance is required, or
- although the assistance does not have to be provided permanently, a constant willingness to provide assistance is required.
Helplessness is assumed in the following diseases:
- for blindness and severe visual impairment
- Paraplegia and other disabilities that require the use of a wheelchair permanently and permanently - even within the living space
- for brain damage, seizure disorders, mental retardation and psychosis, if these disabilities alone cause a GdS of 100
- Loss of two or more limbs, excluding lower leg or foot amputation on both sides
Damaged people who, as a result of their damage, are permanently dependent on outside help to regulate their daily routine are considered helpless.
Helpless injured persons can apply for a monthly care allowance.
