Zahnärztliche Gruppenprophylaxe bei Kindern und Jugendlichen beantragen

Dental services promote the dental health of children and adolescents with age-appropriate programs

In order to detect tooth damage and malpositions of teeth in children at an early stage, the statutory health insurance companies offer dental group prophylaxis for children and adolescents. The aim is to:

• to give children an awareness and sense of responsibility for the health of their teeth
• improve oral hygiene
• Detect and prevent dental diseases
• To inform parents and to advise them on request.  

Dental group prophylaxis is carried out in crèches, kindergartens, schools and facilities for people with disabilities.

Group prophylaxis specialists, as well as dentists of the public health service or sponsored dentists are in use for this.

This is a population medicine measure. It cannot be used as an individual service.

None for children, teenagers or their families.
