Aufnahme Berufsfachschule beantragen

The educational offer of the vocational schools (BFS) is very diverse and enables you to:

• to obtain school-leaving qualifications with reference to occupational fields
• to acquire a vocational qualification and at the same time a higher educational qualification (Realschulabschluss or extended Realschulabschluss; school part of the Fachhochschulreife).

Vocational schools are divided into

• FSO without professional qualification,
• FSO for two and more years with a professional qualification and
• FSO for health professions (federal regulations apply here).

Depending on the course of training, the training period lasts 1 to 3 years.

• Completed admission form of the respective vocational school (usually available via the school's homepage)
• Proof of the relevant admission requirements

• Depending on your level of education, you will need either a Hauptschulabschluss or a Realschulabschluss to be admitted to the Berufsfachschule.

In addition, there are course-specific admission requirements. These can be found on the website of the respective vocational school.

Depending on the course of education and the school, school fees may be charged in the health professions.

• Select school location
• Download the admission form from the school's homepage or pick it up in paper form at the school secretariat on site
• Submit completed admission form and necessary documents to the school in accordance with school requirements
• After successful selection and class formation process of the school, you will receive a message from the school

• Application deadline is 15.03. of each year
• Schools can set an earlier deadline for applications
• Later applications can be considered within the scope of free capacities
