As an authorized hunter in Saxony-Anhalt, you are obliged to submit a shooting plan to the competent authority, broken down by game species.
If you are authorized to hunt in Saxony-Anhalt, you must draw up a shooting plan for the hoofed game species occurring in your hunting ground - with the exception of wild boar - and, if applicable, for capercaillie, black grouse and raptors, and submit it to the competent hunting authority. In hunting districts, the shooting plan must be drawn up by the district owner, in leased hunting districts in agreement with the lessor.
In a shooting plan, a so-called group shooting plan can be determined, i.e. that a kill in another hunting district is counted towards the shooting quota.
The game species mentioned may only be shot on the basis of and within the framework of a shooting plan, which must be confirmed or set by the competent authority in agreement with the hunting advisory board. The shooting plan must be submitted to the hunting authority, broken down by game species. In the case of red deer, fallow deer and mouflon, the shooting plan shall be broken down by age group and sex. The hunting authority may request the same for roe deer.
If the owner of the hunting ground does not submit a proper shooting plan to the hunting authority or if the owner of the hunting ground and the landlord or the hunting board cannot reach an agreement on the preparation of the shooting plan, the hunting authority shall set the shooting plan for the hunting district concerned.
