Certificate according to § 22 Implementing Regulation for the Saxon Building Code (DVOSächsBO)

If you are established in another member state of the European Union, another contracting state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area or in Switzerland as an inspection expert / inspection expert without possessing comparable proof of authorization and knowledge, you may nevertheless work in Saxony. The prerequisite for this is a certificate from the Saxony Chamber of Engineers that you meet the requirements with regard to the recognition prerequisites, the proof of knowledge and the field of activity.

Note: If you have already reported your activity as an inspection expert or inspection expert in another federal state or if you have been granted a certificate, you do not need to report the commencement of your activity in Saxony or apply for recognition at the Saxony Chamber of Engineers.

Before submitting your application, please contact the Saxony Chamber of Engineers to find out which documents you need to submit in detail.

• You are established as an inspection expert in another member state of the European Union, a signatory state to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
• They can prove by means of diplomas and certificates of employment, among other things, that they meet the requirements and have the necessary knowledge for the field of activity.

You apply for the certification of the recognition requirements as an inspection expert informally in writing to the Saxony Chamber of Engineers by submitting the required documents and records.
