If certain documents or certificates are required for individual course registrations, you will be informed of this in the course descriptions or when you register.
- Binding registration at the respective adult education centre is required for most courses.
- For selected courses, such as multi-level language courses, a consultation and usually also a placement test are required.
- There is often a minimum number of participants (usually eight) for a course or event to take place.
- Admission to the course is based on the chronological order of registrations.
The amount of the course fee is stated in the respective course description.
Tip: Certain groups of people can apply for a reduction in the course fee. You can find out whether you are eligible for a reduction and what proof you need to provide at your adult education centre.
Registration

Withdrawal
- The withdrawal period and the refund of course fees are regulated differently at the adult education centres. It is best to contact the respective adult education centre for more information.
Cancellation
- If an event cannot take place for certain reasons despite having reached the required number of participants, the Adult
- Education Centre will cancel the course in good time.
- In such cases, any fees already paid will be refunded in full.
