Applications for this funding item must be submitted by specified deadlines. The deadlines to be observed in each case are published in the context of the funding module. As can be seen from the current funding module, it is currently not possible to submit an application.
Funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) are used to support projects that integrate disadvantaged young people into the system of gainful employment. The support should be geared to individual needs and contribute to reducing disadvantages and deficits, activating own resources and thus supporting the transition to vocational preparation, training or employment.

What is funded?
Training preparation for young people with social disadvantages and/or individual impairments as well as increased socio-educational support needs, oriented towards individual needs.
- Funding is provided for socio-educationally accompanied projects with production school-oriented approaches as a low-threshold offer of vocational orientation and vocational preparation as well as
- to support the transition to training or further vocational preparation projects and to support the transition to employment.

- Personnel costs
- Travel allowance
- Administrative costs
- Reimbursement of expenses

The application must fulfil various requirements:
- The local public youth welfare organisation approves the project in all aspects.
- Needs and sustainability concepts are properly explained.
- A coordinated business and marketing concept is available.
- Appropriate measures to maintain market neutrality are in place.
- The socio-educational support and the subject leaders are appropriately qualified.
- The heads of department and the socio-educational support are involved in the development of the concept.
- The cooperation of all institutions involved is ensured.
- The methodological procedure is explained.
- The socio-educational work is based on a comprehensible concept of needs and competence assessment as well as the subsequent individual support planning.

As a first step, take advantage of the advice offered by the SAB.
- You can obtain the necessary forms and fact sheets online here via Amt24 or directly from the SAB.
- Complete the application and submit it to the SAB with the required documents and evidence.
- After the SAB has checked your application, you will receive written notification of whether and to what extent your application has been approved.
Calling off the funds, proof of use, participant data
The approved funds are disbursed upon application. In addition, proof of the use of the funds must be provided. All necessary documents for calling up the funds and for accounting in the where-used list are integrated in the application software. Participant data is also recorded in the ESF portal.
More information will follow as soon as a deadline for the application is known.
Submit the application before you start the project. Once the application has been received by the SAB (date of postmark), you can start the project at your own risk.
Attention! As long as you have not received a notification of approval, you must assume that you will not receive the grant, or that you will not receive the grant in the amount requested or at the time requested.
