Funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) are used to support projects that facilitate access to the training and labour market for disadvantaged young people without vocational qualifications. The support should be geared to individual needs. It is intended to help reduce disadvantages and deficits, activate individual resources and thus facilitate the transition to a training or employment relationship.

Recognised voluntary child and youth welfare organisations
What is funded?
Funding is provided for socio-educationally supported qualification and employment projects for socially disadvantaged and/or individually impaired young people without vocational qualifications
- as a low-threshold offer of vocational orientation and vocational preparation
- to support the transition to training or further vocational preparation projects and to support the transition to employment, and
- as a stabilising opportunity for personality development with a consolidated daily structure and social skills to increase employability

- The participants are individually impaired and/or socially disadvantaged young people up to the age of 27.
- The participants have their place of residence in the Free State of Saxony.
Furthermore:
- The project is oriented towards work-related youth social work in the Free State of Saxony.
- The local youth welfare organisation supports and accompanies the project.
- The need and sustainability are described in detail.
- The need is to be noted with the expected number of participants.
- Comparable services are to be given priority by the participants.
- The local provider of basic benefits for jobseekers confirms the need for the project and its sustainability.
- The socio-educational work is based on a comprehensive concept for assessing needs and skills.
- The specialist supervisors and socio-pedagogical support staff are appropriately trained and competent.

In the first step, take advantage of the advisory services offered by the SAB.
- You can obtain the necessary forms and fact sheets online directly from the SAB.
- Complete the application and submit it to the SAB with the required documents and evidence.
- After the SAB has checked your application, you will receive written notification of whether and to what extent your application has been approved.
Disbursement, proof of use
The approved funds are disbursed upon application. In addition, proof of the use of the funds must be provided. Please use the SAB forms for the call for funds and the proof of use.
Applications for this funding item must be submitted by specified deadlines. The deadlines to be observed in each case are published in the context of the funding module. As can be seen from the current funding module, no application is possible at the moment.
Attention! As long as you have not received a notification of approval, you must expect that you will not receive the grant, or that you will not receive the grant in the amount applied for or at the time applied for.
