A recognised inspection workshop may inspect plant protection equipment that is subject to mandatory inspection, prepare inspection reports and issue inspection stickers if the inspection is successful. The Sächsisches Landesamt für Umwelt, Landwirtschaft und Geologie (LfULG) will grant you recognition upon application.

• Certificate of successful completion of a basic training course on the inspection of plant protection equipment in use
• Certificates on the measuring accuracy of the control technology

• Trained inspection personnel
• Suitable testing and measuring technology

• You can apply for recognition as an inspection workshop by sending an informal letter to the competent authority.
• Enclose meaningful evidence that proves the requirements for official recognition.
• Submit the application and the required documents to the competent body.
• The competent body will check the application documents and carry out an on-site inspection. This may be combined with a practical appliance test.
• After a successful inspection, the competent body will issue a notice of recognition. The recognised inspection workshop also receives a yard label as an identification mark.
