in their drive system, certain regulations apply to ensure the safety of the technical equipment.
Among other things, vehicles in which a drive system with gas has been installed must have a so-called gas system installation test carried out in an authorised workshop.
In order to be authorised to carry out the gas system installation test in your vehicle workshop, you must apply for approval for your vehicle workshop.

- Certificate from the Chamber of Skilled Crafts confirming the necessary expertise
- for each responsible person to be registered:
- Certificate of good conduct
- Extract from the driving licence register
- Proof of appropriate expertise in accordance with Annex XVIIa StVZO
- Equipment of the workshops and expertise of the authorised persons in accordance with Annex XVIIa of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations
- The application letter and the required documents (see "Required documents") must be submitted with the application.
- In the second step, the equipment and structural conditions are checked in the workshop on site in accordance with Annex XVIIa of the StVZO.
Attention! Changes to recognised vehicle workshops that may affect their recognition must be reported to the recognition body without being asked. Failure to do so may result in the revocation of recognition.
