Information on the disposal of bulky waste.

Bulky waste is bulky furnishings and items of daily use that do not fit into a household waste garbage can due to their size and are not firmly attached to the house. You can have bulky waste collected or deliver it yourself to the EVS recycling centers at a price of 2 euros per cubic meter or part thereof.

We offer owners several free bulky waste collections per year. The number of collections (up to four cubic meters of bulky waste each) depends on the size and number of residual waste containers on the property.

• up to 240 L - 2 x per calendar year
• up to 480 L - 3 x per calendar year
• up to 960 L - 4 x per calendar year
• up to 1,920 L - 5 x per calendar year
• more than 1,920 L - 8 x per calendar year

Bulky waste includes, for example, mattresses, carpets, shelves, cupboards, chairs and bicycles.

Bulky waste can be collected on fixed collection dates or on request. The public waste disposal authorities are responsible for this, in Saarland these are the waste disposal association EVS and the municipalities.
