The Official Gazette of the Saarland is the official publication of the Saarland.
According to Article 102 sentence 1 of the Constitution of the Saarland (SVerf), the Minister-President must draw up the laws passed in accordance with the constitutional procedure with the responsible ministers and promulgate them in the Official Gazette of the Saarland.
Statutory ordinances are also promulgated in the Official Gazette of the Saarland in accordance with Article 104 Para. 2 Sentence 1 SVerf, unless the law provides for a different form of publication. The official gazette also generally contains other official publications and public notifications required by law or by court or official order.
In accordance with Section 8 of the Official Gazette Act (AmtsblG) of February 11, 2009 (Official Gazette p. 1215) in conjunction with the announcement on the introduction of the electronic form for the Official Gazette of the Saarland of October 30, 2009 (Official Gazette p. 1710), the Official Gazette of the Saarland was converted to the Official Gazette Part I and Part II on December 3, 2009.
Pursuant to Section 3 (2) of the Official Gazette Act (AmtsblG), all laws and ordinances, treaties and agreements, announcements relating to laws and ordinances, all other announcements required by the Constitution of the Saarland and the decision formulas of the Constitutional Court of the Saarland that require publication are published exclusively and in a legally binding manner in an official online partial edition of the Official Gazette (Part I) on the Internet. It can be accessed on the Saarland promulgation portal at www.amtsblatt.saarland.de.
All other publication items, on the other hand, are published in a legally binding manner in an official paper partial edition of the Official Gazette (Official Gazette Part II). The content of the Official Gazette Part II also appears on the Internet for information purposes.
Accessing, saving and printing the electronic form of the Official Gazette Part I is free of charge.
A usage fee of EUR 0.15 per page is charged for printouts or copies made by the Official Gazette Office of the State Chancellery. For certified copies, a fee of EUR 3 is charged in addition to the usage fee, plus postage if sent by post
- If the Official Gazette is obtained by subscription, an annual subscription fee of EUR 30 (half-yearly subscription: EUR 15) applies for the provision of the electronic version of the Official Gazette Part II (subscription variant A)
- for the provision of the electronic version of the Official Gazette Part I and the provision of the Official Gazette Part II in paper form (subscription variant B), an annual subscription fee of EUR 35 (half-year subscription: EUR 17.50).

Subscription variant B also includes free access to the electronic version of the Official Gazette Part II in the promulgation portal.
In addition to the Saarland promulgation portal, the Official Gazette Part I can be viewed in electronic and printed form at the Official Gazette Office of the State Chancellery and at the local courts in Saarland during business hours.
The Official Gazette Office and the local courts provide assistance in retrieving and finding electronic documents and ensure that anyone can obtain printouts or copies of an electronic document at their own expense. On request, the aforementioned offices will provide a certified printout of an electronic document against payment of the costs.
It is also possible to view the Official Gazette Part I during business hours at the Saarland municipalities and have printouts or copies made there at your own expense.
The Saarland Official Gazette is usually published every week on a Thursday. If a Thursday falls on a public holiday, the corresponding issues are scheduled individually.
The same applies to special editions of the Official Gazette.
In order to guarantee the publication of an advertiser's text on a Thursday, the text must be submitted to the official gazette in the previous week by Wednesday 10.00 a.m. in the previous week and the deadlines for the return of proofs must be met.

After receipt and processing by the Gazette Office, you will receive the corresponding galley proof and the invoice from our cooperation partner, the printing company Satzweiss.com GmbH, by e-mail. Once the printer's proof has been confirmed and the invoice has been paid, the announcement text will be published in the next possible edition of the Official Gazette.
The Official Gazette of the Saarland is the official promulgation organ of the Saarland. In accordance with Article 102 sentence 1 of the Saarland Constitution, laws passed in accordance with the constitutional procedure are executed by the responsible ministers and promulgated by the Minister President in the Saarland Official Gazette.
The Saarland Official Gazette is published by the Head of the State Chancellery. The official gazette office is located in Department A of the State Chancellery and can be reached at amtsblatt@staatskanzlei.saarland.de.
