On election day, every democratic election is only made possible by the commitment of the members of the electoral boards at the local polling stations.
This is why our democracy needs around 650,000 electoral assistants nationwide to carry out elections, around 10,000 in Saarland alone, who take on this honorary electoral office on election day.
With this electoral volunteer work, you can perform an indispensable service for our actively practiced democracy and for our open, free and democratic society. Join in and experience democracy at first hand.
