If you have your registered office or place of business in Schleswig-Holstein and offer literacy courses, you can receive funding for your overhead and material costs under certain conditions.

If you are based or have your business premises in Schleswig-Holstein and offer literacy and basic education courses, advisory services for different target groups (those affected, course leaders, multipliers) and supplementary public relations work that raises awareness among stakeholders in the world of work, you can receive funding for your personnel, material and overhead costs under certain conditions.

Providers who have their registered office or place of business in Schleswig-Holstein and

• are recognized in accordance with the Schleswig-Holstein Continuing Education Act and
• have the necessary infrastructure and
• experience with the target group

You can submit an application online or in writing.
If you would like to submit your application online:

• You submit your application on the service portal of the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
• Your organization will need a service account on the Schleswig-Holstein service portal and an ELSTER organization certificate. The latter is used to authenticate your organization's service account.
• The submitted project applications are evaluated by an expert jury consisting of representatives of the ministry responsible for the funding call and Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein as the approval authority on the basis of a scoring model and confirmed by the ministry.
• Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein approves your application or initially grants an early start of the measure due to the short-term start of the project. Granting an early start does not result in a legal entitlement to funding. The project may not be started without a grant notification or the granting of an early start, otherwise funding is excluded.
