If you want to offer courses to teach firearms expertise, you need to have the course recognized by your local firearms authority.
If you want to offer courses to teach firearms expertise, for example for sport shooters or security companies, you must have the course recognized by your local firearms authority.
Among other things, you must teach the following content in the course:
- The legal principles of weapons law, firearms law and self-defense and emergency situations.
- The safe handling of weapons and ammunition.
- The functioning of long guns, short guns and ammunition as well as the internal and external ballistics, range and mode of action of the projectile.
The course must be completed with a theoretical and a practical examination. You must form an examination board for this.
The competent firearms authority may attach conditions to your recognition.
You want to have a training course recognized to teach you how to handle weapons and ammunition.

- You submit an application to the responsible office.
