The aim of war victims' welfare is to adequately compensate for or mitigate the consequences of the injury or loss of a spouse, parent, child or grandchild.

War victims' welfare has the task of taking care of the injured and their family members and surviving dependants in all situations. The aim is to adequately compensate for or mitigate the consequences of the injury or loss of a spouse, parent, child or grandchild.

War victims' welfare is granted in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Pension Act (BVG). It includes

• Curative treatment, physical exercises for the disabled and medical treatment (§§ 10 to 24a BVG),
• War victims' welfare benefits (§§ 25 to 27j BVG),
• Disabled person's pension (§§ 29 to 34 BVG) and care allowance (§ 35 BVG),
• Funeral allowance (§ 36 BVG) and death grant (§ 37 BVG),
• Survivors' pension (§§ 38 to 52 BVG),
• Funeral allowance in the event of the death of surviving dependants (§ 53 BVG).

• Copy of notification of recognition under the Federal Pension Act or another law that provides for the application of the Federal Pension Act,

• Proof of current obligations,
