Prerequisites:
- You must be qualified to hold the office of judge in accordance with the German Judges Act or
- You meet the requirements for admission in accordance with the Act on the Activities of European Lawyers in Germany of March 9, 2000 (EuRAG; BGBl. I p. 182) or
- You have passed the aptitude test in accordance with the EuRAG.
Admission becomes effective with the issue of a certificate issued by the Bar Association. Upon admission, the applicant becomes a member of the admitting bar association. After admission, the activity may be practiced under the professional title "Rechtsanwältin" or "Rechtsanwalt".
