The production of forest reproductive material directly from the source material (harvest) must be notified in advance to the competent authority.

The production of forest reproductive material directly from the basic material (harvest) must be notified to the competent authority in good time in advance. It is only permitted if the source material is approved in accordance with Section 4 of the Forest Reproductive Material Act (FoVG).

Information is required on the start of the harvest with precise location details and information on the tree species to be harvested.

Fees are charged in accordance with Section 2 (2) of the Schleswig-Holstein Administrative Costs Act in conjunction with Section 1 of the State Ordinance on Administrative Fees. Detailed information can be obtained from the responsible office.

The harvesting measure must be registered 48 hours before it begins.

For certain forest reproductive material, there may be an obligation to send it to collection points of forest or tree owners or forestry associations after harvesting. Information can be obtained from the competent authority.
