Unternehmenszertifizierung für die klimaschutzgerechte Installation, Wartung und Instandhaltung von Anlagen mit fluorierten Treibhausgasen beantragen

Companies that install or maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems or heat pumps that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases require certification.

The Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance applies in addition to the European Regulation on Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases. It stipulates that, in connection with the European implementing regulation, companies that carry out maintenance, servicing and installation work on stationary refrigeration and air conditioning systems and heat pumps that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases must, must be certified.

The competent authority certifies the companies if they can prove that they have

• sufficiently qualified personnel (certificate of competence in accordance with the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance) and
• the necessary technical equipment

• You submit the completed application for company certification together with copies of the personal certificates of competence to the State Office for the Environment.
• The State Office for the Environment will review your application within 3 months and request additional documents if necessary.
• The certification will be sent to you after the review has been completed and you can start working.

Before starting work.

You can lodge an appeal against the decision.
