Richtlinie über die Förderung der Energieberatung für Wohngebäude (Vor-Ort-Beratung, individueller Sanierungsfahrplan)
Do you own a residential building and want to renovate or modernise it to make it more energy efficient? Then you can take advantage of an energy consultation. The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection will subsidise this if the requirements are met. With an energy-efficient refurbished home, you save on heating costs, increase the comfort and value of your property and do something good for the environment.
A qualified energy consultant will come to your home and analyse the current condition of the building: the heating system, the roof, the windows, the basement ceiling and the exterior facade.
You will then receive a customised individual renovation roadmap (iSFPs). The special features of your building and the owner's ideas are taken into account. Depending on your wishes, you will receive a roadmap for a complete refurbishment or a step-by-step refurbishment with coordinated individual measures.
Application documents with registered dena consultant number of the energy consultant
You can only take advantage of subsidised energy advice if
- the building is located in Germany
- the building application or building notification for the residential building was submitted at least ten years ago at the time of application.
- the building is primarily intended for residential use.
- the consultant is listed in the energy efficiency expert list of the German Energy Agency (dena) in the category of energy consulting for residential buildings.
Residential units are accounted for separately in a non-residential building. Heated non-residential buildings that are to be used as residential buildings in the future (reclassification) can also be the subject of a consultation
Costs vary depending on the effort involved.
Funding amount:
Grant amounting to 80% of the eligible consultancy fee, up to a maximum of EUR 1,300 for detached and semi-detached houses and up to a maximum of EUR 1,700 for residential buildings with at least three residential units.
Grant of a maximum of EUR 500.00 for additional explanation of an energy consultation report at a homeowners' meeting or advisory board meeting.
Please note that the subsidy is not paid to the person receiving the advice, but to the energy consultant. However, the consultant is obliged to offset the subsidy against his or her consultancy fee.
- The energy consultant submits a subsidy application to BAFA for your residential building and receives a subsidy notification after reviewing the application. You can find authorised energy consultants in your region at www.energie-effizienz-experten.de.
- The energy consultant now has a maximum of nine months to carry out the consultation and hand over and explain the energy consultation report to you. The energy consultant will issue you with an invoice for his/her consultation service, reduced by the subsidy.
- After the explanatory meeting, you and the energy consultant must sign the declaration of utilisation. The energy consultant submits this to BAFA for review together with the invoice and the energy consultancy report. Finally, the grant is paid out to the consultant.
The energy-saving consultant must complete the consultation within nine months of the grant notice being issued.
