What is supported?

The funding serves

• the needs-based further development and safeguarding of services and structures in child and youth welfare,
• to positively influence specific framework conditions for children and young people in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern,
• the development of children and young people's autonomous and socially responsible personalities,
• innovative and sustainable quality development and assurance of services and structures.

Funding is provided for projects that serve the youth policy objectives of Sections 11 to 14 SGB VIII and the strengthening of family-oriented youth welfare. This also includes projects for the development of counseling, care and assistance services within the framework of educational assistance in accordance with Sections 27 to 35 SGB VIII.

Depending on the area of funding, independent youth welfare organizations as well as local public youth welfare organizations

How is funding provided?

The funding is granted in the form of a share or fixed amount in the form of a non-repayable grant to independent youth welfare organizations or a non-repayable allocation to public youth welfare organizations.

• Young people should receive offers that promote their development
• To take up the interests of children, young people and young adults and offer activities
• These include sports, games and socializing, international youth work, children's and youth recreation, counselling
