Who is eligible?

Those entitled to apply are custodians who have their sole or main residence in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern at the time of the birth and the application and with whom the children are registered and live with their sole or main residence. The application must be submitted to the State Chancellery via the responsible registration authority.

How is funding provided?

A one-off financial aid of 1,000 euros per child is granted. The financial aid is usually paid out by the State Chancellery by bank transfer.
