If you use forwarders in the forest, you can, under certain conditions, receive financial support to promote traditional and environmentally friendly timber harvesting methods.

What is supported?

The object of the funding is the traditional method of logging or pre-supplying wood by using horses in the forest.

Who is supported?

Private entrepreneurs of any legal form with (residential) domicile in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern who offer logging with horses as a service.

How is funding provided?

The calculation is based on the proven quantities of timber that have been hauled or pre-delivered in the forest by means of a logging horse.

The following documents must be enclosed with the application:

• De minimis declaration according to the form of the granting authority
• Proof of (residential) domicile in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
• Data protection declaration

Grants are only awarded for logging with horses on forest areas in M-V. Funding for logging with horses outside the forest is excluded.

There are no costs.

Complete the application form provided by the granting authority. Sign the application and submit it together with the required documents to the granting authority by October 1 of the respective calendar year at the latest.

If all requirements are met, the granting authority will grant you the subsidy. You will receive a notification.
