Framework agreement (draft) on the provision of agricultural advisory services for the West Mecklenburg / North East / South East region

The state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern grants subsidies for agricultural advisory services with the help of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

What is supported?

The aim is to develop competitive, sustainable, environmentally and nature-friendly agriculture that is adapted to climate change, animal-friendly and multifunctional and contributes to the promotion of biodiversity and landscape conservation.

Individual farm advisory projects in agriculture with the following content:

1. Advice on basic farm management requirements or standards for good agricultural and environmental condition,
2. Advice on agricultural practices that benefit the climate and the environment and the conservation of agricultural land,
3. Advice on measures and requirements in connection with climate change mitigation,
4. Advice on the conservation of biodiversity in agriculture and support for measures to implement it,
5. Advice on the conservation of genetic resources in agriculture,
6. Advice on the requirements or measures for water and soil protection,
7. Advice on requirements for particularly animal-friendly husbandry methods,
8. Advice on diversification, including that which serves sustainable regional development,
9. Advice on organic farming issues.

Who is supported?

The recipients of the advisory services are agricultural enterprises and producer associations. Funding is paid directly to the consultancy provider.

How is funding provided?

Project funding as partial funding in the form of a non-repayable grant of 60% to 100%

• Notification of an advisory project
• Letters of intent with farmers

• Recognition of guidance providers and guidance practitioners
• Recognized advisory content

Consultancy providers recognized via a framework agreement submit a written application for funding to the accounting office (State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries M-V).
Applications must be submitted using a standardized form by 31 March or 30 September each year. The application form is available from the State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries M-V.
