If you are interested in certain monuments, you can apply for information.

You can obtain information from the Lower Monument Protection Authority about the monuments within its jurisdiction. However, for certain monuments, such as ground monuments, you must provide evidence of a legitimate interest for the information. This is necessary, for example, in order not to jeopardize the owner's right to data protection.

Proof of legitimate interest is required in the application process for the following types of monument:

• Movable monuments
• Ground monuments

You can view the lists of monuments of the lower monument protection authorities at any time.

However, you must apply for information on specific monuments or information on movable monuments and ground monuments and provide evidence of your legitimate interest.
