What is subsidized?

The object of the grant is the purchase and installation of plug-in PV systems (so-called mini balcony power plants or balcony PV modules) with a module inverter.

Who is eligible for funding?

Beneficiaries can be private individuals with their primary residence in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern who

  • tenants in residential buildings or
  • owners of owner-occupied residential property.

How is funding provided?

The grant is awarded within the framework of project funding as fixed-amount financing in the form of a non-repayable subsidy. The amount of the grant is EUR 500 per system and housing unit, but no more than the amount of the eligible expenditure if this is less than EUR 500.

Eligible expenditure is expenditure for the purchase and installation.

Not eligible for funding are

  • Accessories and conversion kits
  • Own work and assistance from third parties
  • self-construction.

Incomplete applications submitted as a precaution will not be considered for approval.

Verfahrensablauf

  • Written applications must be submitted in the correct form and copies of all the necessary supporting documents must be submitted after the system has been successfully installed and commissioned.
  • Applications will only be approved if they are complete.
  • Approvals are granted in the chronological order of receipt of complete applications per contingent (tenant or owner) as long as budget funds are available.

The granting authority will publish a notice at www.lfi-mv.de if it is foreseeable that the budget funds will be exhausted.
