You must apply for registration if you wish to operate a hatchery, breeding farm or multiplication farm.
Every hatchery and every breeding or multiplication farm in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is registered on application by the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries in Rostock and receives an identification number.
Hatching eggs are transported in completely clean packaging containing only hatching eggs of one poultry species, one poultry category and one type of poultry use from one farm.
You can submit an application for registration as a hatchery, breeding farm or propagation farm in writing.
You submit the application informally to the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Office for Agriculture, Food Safety and Fisheries (LALLF M-V) in Rostock.
The identification number can be withdrawn from any company that does not comply with the provisions of the ordinance.
