Caregivers in full-time care (§ 33 SGB VIII) and suitable caregivers in the placement of a mentally disabled young person (§ 35a para. 2 sentence 2 no. 3 SGB VIII) can receive half of the subsidy for an appropriate pension plan. The pension allowance is granted to one caregiver. In the case of caregiver couples, the main caregiver (according to the assistance plan) receives the allowance. In the case of equal employment volumes, the caregivers determine which of them should receive the pension allowance.
