At the Kolleg, adults aged 19 and over have the opportunity to acquire a general higher education entrance qualification via the second educational pathway. Admission to the college requires a secondary school leaving certificate and completed vocational training or three years of professional experience. In addition, an aptitude test in German and mathematics must be passed. The Thüringenkolleg is located in Weimar and a second college in Ilmenau.
