From the 60th marriage anniversary or the 100th age anniversary, you can receive congratulations from the Prime Minister of Thuringia.

Honors on the occasion of marriage and retirement anniversaries have been held in Thuringia since the reestablishment of the state (1990).

The Prime Minister of the Free State of Thuringia honors married couples

• on their diamond wedding anniversary (60 years of marriage),
• the Iron Wedding Anniversary (65 years of marriage),
• on their wedding anniversary (70 years of marriage),
• and crown jewel weddings (75th wedding anniversary)
• as well as to those celebrating 100 years of age and every year thereafter.

• From the 60th marriage anniversary (diamond wedding) or the 100th age anniversary you can receive congratulations from the Thuringian Prime Minister.
• The municipality or city administration of the place of residence is responsible.
