In the event of disputes between craft businesses and clients, both sides can have recourse to the mediation body.

In order to avoid legal disputes between craft businesses and clients (consumers in accordance with Section 13 BGB), the chambers of craft trades have arbitration boards. These mediate in disputes arising from work contracts between the owner of a craft business and the client. The arbitration boards of the Chambers of Skilled Crafts can be called upon by both clients (consumers pursuant to Section 13 BGB) and skilled crafts businesses!

It should be noted that this procedure neither interrupts nor suspends warranty periods or limitation periods.

A copy of the application / letter of complaint and the necessary correspondence must be submitted.
