If you wish to operate a prostitution business through a representative, you as the operator require a representative's permit.

If you wish to operate a prostitution business through a person appointed as a proxy, you will need a proxy permit.

You can operate your prostitution business through one or more persons appointed as a proxy. To do so, you must apply for a proxy permit for each person appointed as a proxy.

The proxy permit is issued to the operator for the person appointed as a proxy. It can be issued for a limited period of time.

An application for a proxy permit will be rejected if the person appointed as a proxy is unreliable.

• If applicable, permission according to § 12 Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) of the operator of the prostitution business

If the prostitution business is no longer operated by the person used as a proxy, you must notify the competent authority immediately

The person to be checked must complete the application section "Verification of the reliability of persons working in the prostitution trade".

The prerequisite for the granting of a prostitution permit remains the granting of a permit in accordance with Section 12 ProstSchG.

From an administrative point of view, it is possible to apply for a permit under Section 12 ProstSchG and a prostitution permit under Section 13 ProstSchG at the same time.
