If your company has become a victim of cybercrime, i.e. computer or internet crime, you can contact the "Zentrale Ansprechstelle Cybercrime" (ZAC service).
Each federal state has a "Central Cybercrime Contact Point" (ZAC service) for the economy. The ZAC offices are located in the state criminal investigation offices.
Cybercrime includes all criminal offenses that are directed against the internet, data networks, IT systems and their data or that are committed using IT, for example
- Data/identity theft,
- data theft,
- online extortion by means of:
- DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) or
- ransomware/cryptotrojans,
- Man-in-the-middle attack and
- CEO fraud.
You can also contact us if you would like advice on measures to prevent cybercrime. The ZAC office of the federal state in which your company is based is responsible for you.

If your company has been the victim of cybercrime or you would like advice on measures to prevent cybercrime, you can contact your ZAC service center by phone or email. The further procedure then depends on the individual case.
