Do you live in Rhineland-Palatinate and need a parking permit for severely disabled people?

Severely disabled people with an exceptional walking disability (mark "aG") or blind people (mark "Bl") can apply for a blue EU parking permit.

Special groups of severely disabled people can apply for a yellow or orange parking permit (less far-reaching). The yellow parking permit is valid in Rhineland-Palatinate, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein.
The orange parking permit is valid throughout Germany.

The issue of a parking permit for people with disabilities is free of charge.

When can I expect to be issued with a parking permit?

Blue EU parking permit:
You can usually take the parking permit with you straight away.
Yellow and orange parking permits:
Slight time delay because the utility administration is asked for information as part of administrative assistance as to whether the applicant belongs to the authorized group of people.

Please contact the road traffic authority responsible for your place of residence, the administration of the municipality/city that is not part of an association or the city administration in cities that are part of a district.
