Anmeldung bei der Tierärztekammer

For all veterinarians practicing the profession in Lower Saxony, there is a compulsory membership of the competent authority.
The same applies to non-working veterinarians, provided that they are resident in Lower Saxony. In accordance with the registration regulations, they must register with the competent authority and provide certain information or submit documents.

• Credentials

There are no fees.

Registration with the competent office must be made within one month of taking up activity or main residence in Lower Saxony at the respective office.

All veterinarians practicing the profession in Lower Saxony are subject to compulsory membership of the Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons.

The responsibility lies with the Tierärztekammer Niedersachsen.

This procedure can also be carried out through a "Point of Single Contact". The "Point of Single Contact" is a special service offered by municipalities and the state for service providers.
