Do you live in Lower Saxony and need a parking permit for severely disabled people?

Severely disabled persons with exceptional walking disabilities (mark "aG") or blind persons (mark "Bl") can apply for a parking permit. The prerequisites for the award of the mark "aG" are determined by the Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Family or its branch offices.

The issuance of the parking card for severely disabled persons must be applied for at the competent authority.

• a copy of your valid severely disabled person's pass or
• the decision of the Lower Saxony State Office for Social Affairs, Youth and Family as well as
• an up-to-date photograph  

Fees apply. Please contact the relevant authority.

The parking permit is usually issued immediately or sent promptly.

If you already have or have possessed a parking card for disabled persons, please provide the number of the parking card.

The responsibility lies with the district, the municipality, the Joint Community and the city. 

Applications can be submitted in person or in writing.
