Waste Disposal Statute
Every household produces waste paper, for example in the form of newspapers and magazines, but also packaging.
Both waste paper fractions (newspapers and packaging) are collected in one container (paper bin, paper bag).
The responsibility lies with the district, the independent city and the cities of Cuxhaven, Göttingen and Lüneburg or their waste management company, the special-purpose associations waste management Celle, Hildesheim and the Hanover region as well as the municipal institutions under public law in Goslar, Nienburg, Peine and Wolfsburg.
