Property owners and other authorized persons can request information on known ground monuments on the properties in question.
Ground monuments are movable and immovable objects, in particular remains or traces of objects, buildings and other evidence of human, animal and plant life that are or were in the ground or in bodies of water.
You can obtain initial information on ground monuments via the geoportal of the Brandenburg State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and Archaeological State Museum. For legally binding or further information, you can submit an inquiry or request access to the files. As long as there are no interests of the owner worthy of protection, you will be given access to the files or further information.
Owners have unrestricted access to files.
Access to the file / information must not conflict with the owner's legitimate interests.
If necessary, a legitimate interest must be proven.
For owners of the monument: none
For third parties: depending on expenditure, in accordance with the administrative fee schedule for official acts in the implementation of the Act on Access to Documents and Information
