Explosive ordinance of the state of Brandenburg
The examination of a property for explosive ordnance is carried out on request by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service at the Central Police Service of the State of Brandenburg (KMBD)
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service maintains an overview of all suspected explosive ordnance sites in the state of Brandenburg and makes this available to the districts and independent cities.
If a construction site is located in an area where explosive ordnance is suspected, proof must be provided that it is free of explosive ordnance before construction work begins.
Proof can be provided by a certificate from the explosive ordnance disposal service or, after explosive ordnance clearance has been carried out, by a certificate from the explosive ordnance clearance company carrying out the work.
