Teaser

Non-governmental schools can apply for funding for practical weeks or practical modules as part of the "Everyday Skills - School for Life" concept.

Volltext

As part of the concept, the entire school family works together on an interdisciplinary basis and with qualified external partners. In terms of content, "Everyday Skills - School for Life" covers the entire area of everyday skills and life economics with the fields of health, nutrition, household management, self-determined consumer behavior, environmental behavior and digital action.

Purpose

Funding is provided for measures to implement the "Everyday Skills - School for Life" concept for pupils at local authority schools and private alternative schools as part of project weeks, particularly in conjunction with specialist lectures and excursions.

Object

Eligible for funding is the implementation of project weeks in accordance with the "Everyday Skills - School for Life" concept at elementary school, middle schools, secondary schools, grammar schools, special schools, business schools and special schools. In the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 school years, up to two project weeks in two different grades in the course of grades 1 to 4 and grades 5 to 9 are eligible for funding.

Funding recipients

Funding recipients are the providers of municipal schools and the providers of state-approved and recognized alternative schools in Bavaria.

Eligible costs

Eligible costs are expenses for the implementation of the project weeks or project modules for

  • Fees for external partners and specialists,
  • Travel costs for pupils to extracurricular places of learning as part of school trips and excursions,
  • material costs (materials, food, etc.).

Type and amount

The funding is provided as a non-repayable one-off grant or allocation (project funding) in the form of fixed-amount funding. The maximum amount of funding for an individual school per school year is calculated by multiplying the number of classes in grades 1 to 4 or 5 to 9 by EUR 100 when carrying out a project week. In the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 school years, the maximum funding amount for an individual school per school year for the implementation of two project weeks is calculated by multiplying the number of classes in grades 1 to 4 or 5 to 9 by 130 euros. For schools with up to six classes, the funding amount in the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 school years is 700 euros for one project week and 910 euros for two project weeks (basic amount).
