You can apply for a company card as an entrepreneur or as a person authorized to represent the company or as an authorized representative. You always need a company card if you use vehicles that must have a digital tachograph.

As a business owner, you are responsible for the proper use of the card or cards. In addition, you must ensure that the company card is entered into the tachograph at the beginning and end of the vehicle's use for the company in order to assign the vehicle's use to the company.

In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that the data read from the tachographs is stored regularly. Upon request, you must hand them over to the authorities or their representatives.

Company cards are valid for 5 years and are issued impersonally to the company.

You can apply for several of these cards for your company. The number is limited per card number series to a maximum of 62 company cards per company. If you need more company cards than this, you must start a new application process.
