Liste der Beratenden Ingenieure; Beantragung der Eintragung

The professional title "Consulting Engineer" may only be used by those who are entered under this title in the list of consulting engineers at the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers.

The registration committee at the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers examines and decides on the entry in the corresponding list.

• Proof of entitlement to use the professional title "Ingenieurin"/"Ingenier" (usually degree certificate from the university)
• Evidence of the subsequent period of practice
• Evidence of autonomous and independent professional practice
• Certificate of good conduct
• Registration certificate

• Authorization to use the professional title "Ingenieurin" or "Ingenieur" in accordance with the Engineering Act (as a rule, completion of at least three years of study in a technical or scientific field required)
• Subsequent three years of professional experience
• Independent and responsible practice of the profession
• Residence, establishment or predominant professional employment in Bavaria

• Registration in the list of consulting engineers: EUR 275.00
• if voluntary membership already exists: EUR 165.00
• if already registered with another chamber in Germany or deletion from this chamber within the last year due to moving away: EUR 95.00

• for the authority: three months after receipt of the application and complete submission of the documents

• for the applicant: none
• Before commencing work, notification of the first provision of the service is required if there is no membership of a German Chamber of Engineers
