As a citizen of Switzerland, you can personally report your stay to the immigration authorities in order to obtain a residence permit.
Your family members who are not Swiss nationals must report this within three months of entering the country.

Volltext

As a Swiss citizen, you are exempt from the requirement for a residence permit due to the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons between the EU, its member states and Switzerland, but you can apply for a residence permit to be issued as an electronic residence permit (eAT) if you wish. Your right of residence exists as long as you meet the requirements specified in the agreement. This is the case, for example, as long as you are employed in Germany, study here, are self-employed or can simply live on your savings here without state aid.
