If you wish to operate a cremation facility, you must notify the competent authority of the commissioning of the cremation facility at least one month before commissioning.

The construction and operation of certain plants requires a permit under the Immission Control Act. These plants include those which, due to their nature or operation, are particularly suitable
cause harmful environmental impacts or
otherwise endanger, significantly disadvantage or significantly nuisance the general public or the neighbourhood.
In addition to the permit requirement, there is a notification requirement for certain plants in accordance with the following emission control regulations:
