The funding program aims to support conversions to new digital systems and business models and processes, thereby improving competitiveness and increasing security when using information and communication technologies.
The Hamburg Investment and Development Bank promotes the switch to new digital systems and business models and processes. The funding program is divided into two modules and the eligible expenses must be at least €3,000 (net) per module and funding application.

- Module I Hamburg Digital "Check" supports expenses for consulting service providers who have received certification as part of the federal program "go-digital".
- Module II Hamburg Digital "Invest" promotes investments to implement the developed strategies and concepts. The funding includes both hardware and software expenditures as well as expenditures for external service providers that are necessary for the implementation of the measures.

- You can apply for the funding program via the e-application portal of the Hamburg Investment and Development Bank.
- To apply for the funding program, you have to register once and can then log in with your username.
- Submit the application online via the portal.
- If you need a statement on the eligibility for funding, this must be applied for separately in advance from a go-digital consultant or at the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hamburg and submitted with the application for funding.
- After a successful examination you will receive a permit.
- After receiving the permit, you can start with your project.
- After approval, you have 12 months to implement the advice or measures.
- After completion of the project, submit the payment request.
- After the documents have been checked, the grant will be paid out.
