The tax consultant examination is a state examination. The examination is divided into a written part consisting of three examination papers and an oral examination. The dates for the written part of the tax consultant examination are set nationwide in October of each year up to and including 2019. The examinations are administered by the Senator of Finance. The Hanseatic Chamber of Tax Consultants in Bremen is responsible for organizing the written and oral parts of the tax consultant examination. Admission to the tax consultant examination must be applied for in writing. An information sheet on the admission requirements as well as the application for admission to the tax consultant examination are posted at http://www.stbkammer-bremen.de/stbp_zulassung.php.
- The application for admission to the tax consultant examination must be made on an officially prescribed form and addressed to the Hanseatic Chamber of Tax Consultants Bremen if the applicant is primarily professionally active in Bremen at the time of the application or - if he/she does not exercise any activity - has his/her place of residence here.
- The application form for admission to the tax consultant examination is posted at http://www.stbkammer-bremen.de/stbp_zulassung.php and can be completed online. The documents can also be requested from the Hanseatic Chamber of Tax Consultants Bremen by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope (compact letter in DIN long format).
You fill out the application (online, if necessary), attach a recent passport photo and send it signed with all enclosed documents to the Hanseatische Steuerberaterkammer Bremen, Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts, Am Wall 192, 28195 Bremen.
